Yep...Kundalini Yoga can be a little weird. It may be different than other types of yoga have tried. I actually think that its weirdness is a key part to why it works so well! It pushes you out of your comfort zone, which is where really great things happen! And aren't we all a little weird??

Its unique combination of poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and chanting of mantras is what makes it so powerful. Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness, of consciousness. And that is EXACTLY what it does!! It makes you aware of things you never even considered before. It changes the way you look at the world, in a good way. It helps you to be more neutral, less judgmental.

I found, or let me rephrase that Kundalini Yoga found me about 4 years ago. And boy has my life changed since then. 

Back then I was totally stressed out, completely overwhelmed, not sleeping, not eating properly and well on my way to a major breakdown. This is when my practice began. Almost immediately it was as if the volume got turned down. Way down. My busy mind seemed a less cluttered, quieter, more peaceful.

This is also where my journey began to finding my own inner voice. Through yoga, meditation, journaling & art I was able to uncover myself, my intuition. And now it is my mission to help others do the same.
